On the afternoon of September 29, 2023, Dr. Peter Kreutzberger, Chairman of the Federation of German-Chinese Friendship Associations, Mr. Liu Guosheng, Vice Chairman, Mr. Günter Kaiser, President of Berlin Kaiser PR Company, Ms. Wang Xue, Director of Chinese-German Cooperative Projects at Shanghai One Billion Voices, Mr. Hou Rui, Deputy Director of Industry Division III of Department of Commerce of Henan Province, Mr. Wang Wei, Deputy Director General of Nanyang Municipal Bureau of Investment Promotion, and Mr. Wu Guanghua, Deputy Director General, visited HPI. Vice President Qu Baozhong attended the symposium. Heads from the Office of Science, Technology and Foreign Affairs, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Automation Engineering, and School of Automotive and Aerospace Engineering attended the meeting. The symposium was held in the conference room on the fourth floor of the administration building, chaired by Cao Shuangmei, Director of the Office of Science, Technology, and Foreign Affairs.
Vice President Qu Baozhong warmly welcomed Dr. Peter Kreutzberger nad his delegation upon their arrival. He introduced HPI’s efforts in overseas campus construction, international student training, Chinese-foreign cooperative education, international exchange collaborations, and exchanges and cooperation in vocational education. Vice President Qu Baozhong stated that the Institute is in a phase of rapid development. He expressed that the visit of Dr. Peter Kreutzberger and his delegation would provide valuable experience and advanced ideas for the international development of HPI. He hoped that both sides could learn from each other and make progress together through exchanges and cooperation, promoting deeper collaboration.
Dr. Peter Kreutzberger expressed his gratitude for the warm reception. He introduced the basic information about the Federation of German-Chinese Friendship Associations and hoped both sides could deepen exchanges and cooperation in vocational education.
Mr. Günter Kaiser expressed his commitment to vigorously promote more profound exchanges between HPI and counterparts in vocational education. He hoped both sides could collaborate in cultural exchange, professional development, and student exchanges.
Both sides engaged in extensive discussions and exchanged views on cooperative education, faculty training, student exchanges, and overseas training programs at the symposium.
After the meeting, Dr. Peter Kreutzberger and his delegation visited the Industrial Robot Application Engineering Technology Research Center, CNC Machining Center, and 5-Axis Machining Center at HPI.
The visit of Dr. Peter Kreutzberger and his delegation will effectively propel more profound exchanges and cooperation in vocational education, laying a solid foundation for expanding our HPI’s international educational channels, developing the international educational landscape, and supporting the high-quality development of the Institute.
