To further create a positive atmosphere of respecting teachers and caring for students, build an equal, harmonious, warm and mutually beneficial teacher-student relationship and show the rich and colorful university life, the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee decided to carry out a photography contest themed “My Teacher and Me” for all students. The specific details are hereby notified as follows:

III. Photography Topic
1. Focus on topics such as classroom learning, internship instruction, skill training, competitions and career planning, and demonstrate the teachers’ demeanor of imparting knowledge, providing guidance and resolving doubts, or showcase the students’ diligent, studious, and skills training spirits.
2. Show the warm and beautiful moments or heartwarming stories between teachers and students in extracurricular communication, sports competitions, cultural activities and social practice, or other activities.
IV. Photo Requirements
1. The photo must be innovative, healthy, uplifting, have a strong sense of the times, be full of true emotions, and promote the main theme of respecting teachers and caring for students.
2. Any photography equipment is acceptable (such as mobile phones and cameras). The file size of each photo shall be no less than 1 M, with a resolution of at least 300 dpi. The photo shall have an express theme, and must be clear visually in the JPG format. Simple post-processing such as cropping and exposure adjustment is allowed, but altering the original photo through techniques like compositing is strictly prohibited.
3. The photo must be original. Plagiarism or copying is strictly prohibited, otherwise, the participant will immediately be disqualified from the contest.
4. Each photo must have a title not exceeding 20 characters, with a brief introduction within 120 characters.
5. Each photo must be submitted only after obtaining the consent of the teacher who is photographed. The winning photos will be uploaded and publicized on HPI’s new media platforms. The rights to disseminate such photos will be jointly owned by the photographer and the Publicity Department of the CPC Committee.
V. Submission Method and Deadline
1. Submission Method: No paper versions will be accepted. Electronic versions of the photo and its description should be named in the format of “Title + Photographer + School + Contact Information,” and sent to HPI’s Assistant Xiaobu via QQ (1174436514) or email (1174436514@qq.com).
2. Deadline: From the date of issuance of this Notice until June 5, 2024.
VI. Contest Awards
This photography contest features a range of awards including first, second and third prizes, as well as several outstanding awards. Winners will be presented with Certificates of Honor and in-kind prizes, and the selected excellent photos will be uploaded and displayed on HPI’s official WeChat account and other platforms.
